Call The League !

(941) 740-1775

Marines have been in the forefront of every American war since the founding of the Corps. They have carried out over 300 landings on foreign shores. They have served everywhere, from the poles to the tropics. Their record of readiness reflects pride, responsibility and challenge.

League members

Charlotte County Marine Corps League Detachment 756 participates in a wide variety of community activities. The most highly visible and far reaching is the annual  " Toys for Tots" program, which supplies thousands of toys to children throughout Charlotte County. The League also participates in the semi annual national " Adopt a Shore" cleanup program, and also maintains a section along Veteran's Blvd, In conjunction with the county's "Adopt a Road" program. League members visit local schools, and give lectures on our country's history, with emphasis on our nation's flag. During these visits, a small ceremony is preformed, where a United States flag is presented to the school. League members provide color guards and rifle squads at numerous community events. The Charlotte County Marine Corps League is continually on the lookout for community events in which League participation will enhance the event, and bring attention to the honored service of county residents in our country's armed services.
